Operating Environment
1. Max admissible temperature for conductor:
90ºC under normal running condition; 250ºC under short circuit(max. duration is 5s)
2. Min bending radius is recommended to be 20 times of cable overall diameter
3. PVC sheathed cables shall not be installed if the environment temperature is below 0ºC,and if it is below 0ºC,the cable should be heated before the installation
Metal Sheath
1. Cables with corrugated aluminum sheath can be especially suitable for the following conditions in addition to the normal ones
2. Cables with corrugated aluminum sheath: places where there is not much corrosion but much requirement for mechanical strength (e.g. direct connection to transformers, laying on bridges and in vertical shafts)
Plastic Outer Sheath
1. Cables with PVC outer sheath ( Type 02 ) are suitable for high voltage transmission line with general fireproof requirement and centain insulation requirement for the outer sheath
2. Cables with PE outer sheath( Type 03 )are suitable for high voltage transmission line directly buried underground with higher insulation requirement on the outer sheath; and if they are laid in tunnels or vertical shafts, anti-fire and flame-retardant measures must be taken

VCV Production Line
Equipment Characteristics
1. Maillefer water cooling extruder unit is most suitable for extrusion of high voltage XLPE.
2. Central Water Station Temperature Control:no noise, being easy to control temperature and pressure, being equipped with precise proportional valve to ensure stable, temperature control and having no effect on generator room's constant temperature(extremely critical for high-pressure production).
3. The best crosshead focusing on production of high voltage cables or extra high viltage cables is Maillefer's flat crosshead, which is characterized with fast and stable flow rate, eliminating the entangling risk .Tue to its long flows, there is no temperature interference between inner and outer shield layers and insulation layer.
4. Energy efficient direct tube heating system.
5. Maillefer is the first company who proposed the concept of post-heating and using the most stable pre-heating machine called YIFUDE in the world.
